Roll forming machine (also known as roll forming machine) is an automated equipment that processes raw materials such as metal sheets and strips into products with specific cross-sectional shapes through continuous rolling action. Core working principle

The working process of the roll forming machine is based on the principle of continuous plastic deformation

The raw material (usually metal strip) passes through multiple groups of symmetrically arranged forming rollers, and each group of rollers locally deforms the material slightly;

As the material is continuously transported between the rollers, it is gradually deformed through multiple passes and finally processed into a cross-sectional shape consistent with the mold contour (such as C-shaped steel, Z-shaped steel, special-shaped pipe fittings, automobile door frames, etc.);

The entire process does not require cutting or welding, the material utilization rate is high, and the formed product has high dimensional accuracy and stable mechanical properties.

 

Main structural components

Unloading mechanism: responsible for the stable conveying of raw materials, ensuring uniform tension of the strip and avoiding deviation;

Forming machine: core component, composed of multiple sets of forming rollers (molds), transmission shafts and frames, the shape of the rollers is customized according to the product cross-section;

Cutting mechanism: accurately cut the formed product according to the set length, hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical transmission can be used;

Control system: automatic control is achieved through PLC (programmable logic controller), which can adjust speed, length, forming parameters, etc. Some high-end models support human-computer interaction interface operation.
